    Hi

Searching for many hours at last I found these beta firmwares from TP-Link that solves connection drop or standby problems on my adapters. I both use 8010 and 8030. So you may interest for these firmwares. I uploaded them to my drive.
    • TL-PA8010P(EU)-170330-2.2.3-BETA
    • TL-PA8030P(EU)-170616-2.2.3-BETA
    • TL-PA8030P(UK)-170616-2.2.3-BETA

I added new NVM version 2.4.0 to drive. This new firmware solves connection lost issues. Tested.

    • TL-PA8030P(EU)-170616-2.4.0-BETA
    • TL-PA8030P(UK)-170616-2.4.0-BETA

    UK firmware

Did anyone have any luck finding the UK firmware for the PA8010p?

    Thanks

Just want to say thanks guys. I ballsed up and reset my desktops adaptor and it wouldn't play ball after that. For the last 2 1/2 hours I've been trying to fix and this new firmware and the latest legit utility have saved the day.

A glass or three of Carmenere is in order.

    Cheers

    Andy

Is it safe to install the 'EU' firmwares on 'US' adapters? Or are there updated 'US' tagged firmware files available anywhere? The official support site still only shows 20150306 version for US TL-PA8010P_V1.
    Thanks!

Any chance someone could upload a copy of the TL-PA8010P(EU)-170330-2.4.0-BETA firmware?Unfortunately I read this thread too late to download from the original download link.Alternatively a UK version of this beta would be fine, just the latest versions tend to be EU.Cheers

Thanks Freddy - much appreciated. Early indications are that this seems to have fixed my chronic PA8010P disconnect problem. Usual symptoms of randomly losing network connectivity, for a couple of minutes. If this 2.4.9 works for everyone, then why aren't TP-Link making this release generally available?

Would be interesting to know what TP-Link have actually changed in 2.4 or is it simply that Qualcomm fixed something in the NVM code....

  12. #27
The 2.x.x versions are Qualcomm's core firmware. All the high profile brands are on 2.4 now, all the way down to their earliest 1200 series adapters - only TP-Link allows their users to be stuck at 2.2 or even 2.0. They could build and release updates - there have been betas provided by TP-Link Support team - but they don't.

    Hello,

This is the last firmware available for PA8010P EU V1?

    Thanks!

    Hello,
how to check if the update was correctly done? I have version 2.4.0.55-01_801191_170330_915, is the version to have after the update?

My TL-PA8010P is connected to a TL-WPA8635P. The version of the TL-WPA8635P is 2.0.0.382-05_863111_160225_901. Do I have to update this version too?

Qualcomm base PLC firmware 2.0.0 is ancient and bug ridden. Updating the WPA8635 should update the PLC firmware as well.
