    TL-MR3420 not providing DNS to clients when firewall is enabled.

    Model :

    Hardware Version :

    Firmware Version :

    ISP : [/COLOR]

    Without the firewall enabled, clients can access internet fine.
    With the firewall enabled with just a single rule (allowing access to a couple of named websites), the clients no longer can reach those websites, webpages indicate that DNS is not resolving.
    Do you need to setup a DNS rule and if so how (tried it does not seem to work).

    can you show us those firewall rules screenshot that you have setup on this router?
    and do you mean access control? and it is your TL-MR3420 V1 or V2?

    factory restored and now works

    I performed a factory restore then re-entered the configuration. It now works.
