    TP link AC1900 ( AP500 ) extender problem

    Model :

    Hardware Version :

    Firmware Version :

    ISP : [/COLOR]

I was told that AP500 extender can only host one network ? I have to choose either 2.4ghz or 5ghz . If the answer is yes then why under the "extended wireless settings" i able to enable both 2.4ghz and 5ghz at the same time .Besides that , i have trouble connecting to wireless network via my phone ( samsung note 5 & huawei mate9 ) . The error message is failed to obtain ip address .Other devices like laptop and ipad works fine . Anyone can help me with the setting please ?

Yes, you can only connect the extender to the router via 2.4GHz or 5GHz, but the extender can broadcast both 2.4G and 5G network.
Is the wifi name of the extender the same as your router or different? Is there any advanced settings on your router, like mac filtering or access control?

At that point attempt to put the range extender into a perfect area, mid-path between fundamental switch and the space for broadened WiFi. This worked for me last time I has comparable issues with WiFi. Write my assignment
