    3G/4G Compatibility of xDSL modem routers

    TP-LINK xDSL modem router is mainly designed to access Internet by xDSL line. But customers have different Internet access ways. To make our xDSL Modem router more capable, we developed 3G/4G Router Mode and Wireless Router Mode as additional function for it.

    1. Is there 3G/4G compatibility list for xDSL Modem Router?
    There are many different brands 3G/4G USB modems in the market. And USB modem compatibility is not Global GM. So we can’t provide the compatibility list for our customers.
    If customers need to use 3G/4G function, we recommend you test if the modem works with our router before you buy it.

    2. It's much appreciate that customers share compatible modems in TP-LINK forum.
    If you found a 3G/4G dongle which works with our router, it’s much appreciate to share this information in our forum post. Then other customer will have a reference in choosing 3G/4G dongles.

    We can post compatible modem as format below.

    Modem is marketed as Telstra 4GX USB+WIFI Plus

    Notes: Telstra is not an ISP listed in the router for preconfigured settings. You need to go to Advanced-> USB settings -> 3G/4G Settings -> tick "Set Dial Number, APN, Username and Password manually"

    no need to upload a bin file with the latest version of the router firmware. Firmware Version:1.5.0 0.8.0 v0050.0 Build 170425 Rel.35576n
