I am using a BT hub for internet access then cat6 cable to an outdoor cpe510. This is then aimed at a remote office. I can get wif access on my laptop but cannot connect anything else to it, other laptops, printers and I don't know why. I have it set up as an access point with it's own ssid and password. does anyone have any ideas. I am looking at fitting an extender in the remote office to allow me to fit an ethernet switch also.

Maybe because the CPE510 is a 5.8GHz device, and if your laptop detects it is because it has a dual or dual band wireless card (5.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz), in the case of most devices, the Incorporation of series of dual cards, the same happens with the cell phones, the very high range, have dual card, the mid range and low do not bring it, only incorporate cards in 2.4 GHZ, that is why you may not be able to detect The SSID of the PHAROS CPE510 ...

    Wink cpe510

Thanks Victor, I don't know if I can set the cpe510 as 2.4 only, but the original BT hub is dual band and the laptops etc work with that. I was trying to set another cpe510 as a client then run a cable from that to an ethernet switch so we could plug directly into it. So have one cpe510 as an access point from the BT hub aiming at another cpe510 as a client then a switch on the end to plug into. I think this scenario should work or am I setting it up wrongly. Many thanks for your help so far.

The CPE510 is a 5GHz-only (single band) AP.

This should work, it's the typical use of two CPEs.
