Can I connect SFP to SFP+ port

    Model : T1700G-28TQ

    Hardware Version :

    Firmware Version :

    ISP : [/COLOR]

Can I connect an SFP cable/connection to an SFP+ port on the T1700G-28TQ or in other words can I use a 1G connection on a 10G port?
Are they backward compatible? And I mix speeds between ports? Since there are 4, can I have 2 running on SFP/1G and the other 2 on SFP+/10G?

In most cases it should work. See http://www.cables-solutions.com/can-...plus-slot.html for more information.

TP-Link datasheet claims compatibility with TL-SM311SM/LM, which are SFP modules: http://static.tp-link.com/res/down/d...0-28TQ_1.0.pdf
