    Or is it possibly properties in my Network Adapter ... in which case what should they be set to? I have a Wireless Centrino Wireless-N 1030 and a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller and a TAP-Win32 Adapter V9 in this Laptop according to Windows 7 Device Mangler/Manager

    Doing a bit of surfing I also found this somewhat discouraging thread on this forum about 5GHz network failures with TP-Link Archer C7 ... so maybe the answer is chuck it out and by an ASUZ?? Comments please.

    Yes, you can change the router IP but there are some other changes you need to make at the same time, especially if you are using the router as another WIFI access point. Is your modem only an modem or is it a combo modem/router? Many or most ISP's provide gateway devices that combine modem and routing functions.     My modem isnt ISP provided - it is an Actiontec on 192.169.0.1. I am also using a Buffalo Router on 192.168.0.2

    anyone help me i cannot see the 5ghz in my wifi network for my archer c5 tplink what is the setup of them thx
