    Exclamation Archer C7 V2, can't update firmware

    Model :

    Hardware Version :

    Firmware Version :

    ISP : [/COLOR]


    I have an Archer C7 v2 hardware ver: 00000000, router with Firmware: 3.15.1 Build 160616 Rel.44182n

    Its dropping my internet 2 or 3 times a week, so i wanted to update the firmware, but no matter what version of firmware i try out it just tell me this:
    Error code: 18005
    Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. Please check the file name.

    but i am getting the file from TP-link webpage and have the V2 version, so i don't know what to do now, please help

    I am running Windows 10 and have a fairly simple setup, running from router to a switch and then to pc.

    Do you mean you can't update to Archer C7(EU)_V2_170803 downloaded from your official website?
    How about change another web browser or computer?
