    TL-WR940N No Internet

    Model :

    Hardware Version :

    Firmware Version :

    ISP : [/COLOR]

After working fine for more than a year, all of a sudden got the orange light indicating no internet. Internet works fine when connected directly to computer.

Most of the time the WAN information is showing no IP address but on occasion when resetting my modem & router it does come up with an IP address as shown below, but it doesn't last long and changes back to after several seconds. Seems like it is getting an IP address for brief period of time but then losses it?

Tried firmware update, MAC clone, etc. but nothing gets rid of the orange (no internet ) light.

Anything else to try before buying a new router?

Who is your internet service provider? Recently there is something wrong with viasat or exede ISP. If your ISP is a different one, are you using a cable modem? Try reboot the modem, and re plug its coaxial cable. Contact tplink support to further troubleshoot.

You can review the IP address and DNS
