    Archer mr400 upload problem

    Hello,

    I have Tp-Link Archer MR400 ( bought 2 days ago ) and I'm having problems with UPLOAD.
When I connect to my WiFi with computer or laptop it works just fine, have both DOWNLOAD/UPLOAD.
But when I connect with my mobile phone Samsung and with other mobile phones it does not work ( UPLOAD is 0 mbps ). When I connect Playstation 4 over WiFi also UPLOAD is 0 mbps.
Firmware is last, tried with previous version but same result.

    Any suggestion ?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I just bought an Archer MR400 V1 and have set it up for remote management. However it neither pops up in the Tether App to be bound to my TP-link cloud account, nor can I access it remotely using its IP address.
Has anyone got any idea on what needs to be done to get this to work. Apparently this model should allow remote management. Thanks!

    Hi,

I had the same experience with an Optus sim. It turns out they are configured for iPads/Android tablets as this is what they are installed in 99% of the time. Contact Vodafone and tell them it's for a 4G router, and they'll probably get you to create a custom profile with CONNECT or something as the APN.

    Hope that works for you.

Strange thing is when I connect to 3G network everything works fine on all devices. Somehow 4G and Android devices don't work, upload is 0 mbps. Really strange.

MR400 is compatible with tether, if the app cannot find the device, check the link. And you need to login to tplinkmodem.net to enable remote management.

If no internet with sim card, make sure it works on your phone. Reset the router. Create a new profile with updated info from ISP.

    Hello,

Is your Archer MR400 unlocked? If yes, it would not work with Giffgaff card. But it's weird not to work with another vodafone SIM card. You'd better check the settings. Although it's said Plug and play, sometimes, you need setup the APN manually, or manually search the network to register. The router is not that Smart:P
