    Win 10 Comm port?

    Model :

    Hardware Version :

    Firmware Version :

    ISP : [/COLOR]

None of the PCs in the organization have a serial communications port. How can I connect to the SG3210 since the web interface stopped responding? (The SYS LED blinks. I believe I need to reset to factory defaults.)
Is there a USB to Serial adaptor that works with Windows 10? (Make and model please?)

You need to buy USB to RS-232 cable firstly, then connect console cable to this USB to RS-232 cable. If you do like this, you can are able access your switch via CLI

Serial/Com port cable obtained - Ethernet ports unresponsive.

Thank you for your response! Last week I found a serial port cable and installed it in the computer. Now I'm able to connect to the CLI/Console interface.

All of the CLI commands that I tried seem to work normally but the Ethernet ports are completely unresponsive. On startup, the CLI console displays, "Warning:... Failed to set initial mode: Feature unavailable." for each of the Ethernet ports.

I have done the factory reset. (It wiped the password and date/time.) But otherwise no change.
I would do a Firmware update, but I need the Ethernet connection, no?
I did a firmware update to TL-SG3210_V2_150714 about a month before the ports became unresponsive.

    Any suggestions much appreciated!

I checked the UG of TL-SG3224(the similar as TL-SG3210),http://static.tp-link.com/res/down/d...(UN)_V2_UG.pdf
please read appendix B,maybe it is useful for you.
Please I think TL-SG3210 do not support Xmodem, you can not upgrade firmware via console cable.

Thank you for the suggestion! I will turn this over to my intern and let you know if it works in about a week.
