You said hardly reboot, does that mean reset to factory settings?

Is the firmware up to date?

Can you login the admin interface of the modem when it freezes? Any error on Status screen?

Hi,I have the exact same problem Archer D7 v1

I try to reset to factory default,
upgrade to firmware Version:1.6.0 0.9.1 v002d.0 Build 160216 Rel.57110n, reset again to factory default and reconfig but the problem is not resolved.

Hi, I have the exact same issue except on Archer C1200. One thing to add is I saw on the status screen before it freezes that CPU usage is near 100%. I wonder if the people with this problem should compare which devices are on their network? I have a Vizio smart tv, sonoff wireless witch, 4 chromecast audio devices, and various computers, tablets, and phones. Do either of you have any common device to me?

I'm having the same issue since some days. The only solution is to switch off/on again.
Have also tried to disable pretty everything in the config, using different dns, and reset the device.

I'm starting to think that issue comes from Android 8.1. It's happening since i updated my Nexus 6p to it.
Indeed also some netgear devices seem affected: https :// community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/Android-8-Crashes-Orbi/m-p/1452347/highlight/true

Meanwhile let's see, i've set ip adress reservation for my Nexus 6p, wondering if it's something related to dhcp that can be fixed this way.
