    This build (170809) has been out in Australia since August 2017: http://www.tp-link.com.au/download/A....html#Firmware

    No issues using it here. Not that I noticed any before. Relative to some other models, the VR2800 is relatively trouble free and this latest firmware thankfully doesn't change that!

    Hello,

    After this upgrade every time the VR2800 is "stress tested" the aDSL line falls to an unsusable speed.
    How can I go back to previous firmware?

    Thanks

    I have no issues with this firmware but am unsure what you mean by "stress testing". If a speed test then this works fine for me. I suggest you try reseting the router back to factory defaults and set it up again as this is sometimes required after firmware updates.

    Thanks for aswering.

    Well... two things:
    1st. by "stress" I mean that the bandwith falls down to an "almost unsuable bitrate" only when I connect to services that requires a lot of bandwith... such as Netflix or a "speedtest.net"; after this I need to reboot the router to get a "normal" bandwith again;
    2nd. I'd love to try and install the previous firmware (not the latest); is this possible? I can't find the older in the TP-Link download section.

    Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks to everybody

    No idea how to downgrade the firmware but as others don't have this issue and as I can run speed tests without any issues I suggest you reset your router to factory and set up again as I suggested first.

    OK: will try this.
    Thanks for helping

    PS
    I did it; now testing in next days, but the impression is to be fine now!
    Thanks a lot!!
