    Parental control not working

    Model :

    Hardware Version :

    Firmware Version :

    ISP : [/COLOR]

    Firmware Version: 3.16.9 Build 150312 Rel.59597n
    Hardware Version: WR940N v3/WR941ND v6 00000000
    Model : TL-WR940N_TL-WR941ND
    S. no : 2166273009990

Hi - I have purchased the above mentioned router few months ago. I am trying to set parental control on one device (ipod) as follows :

    Parental PC MAC: 00-11-22-33-44-BB
    Restricted device MAC: 00-11-22-33-44-AA
    Other device MAC : 00-11-22-33-44-CC

I want to use parental PC (BB) to restrict wifi access on AA. However, i want the rest of the devices (CC, DD, EE etc ...) to have full wifi access. When i go into Parental Control and set BB as MAC address of Parental PC, click add new and set AA as restricted device, and enable parental control, the internet access on ALL devices is getting blocked (irrespective of schedule or status). Please help on how to configure ?

    Thanks,
    Raj

You are going to limit the internet access time on AA or both time and websites, if just time limit, access control is more suitable for you: http://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-561.html
If both time and websites, parental control should be fine, here is the instruction: http://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-350.html

HI Kevin - Thanks for your reply. I am trying to limit time and websites described in http://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-350.html. In fact, I tried these exact same steps in the past and also did them now with no result - Internet for ALL devices connecting to that Wi-Fi is blocked and not even the allowed websites work (with the exception of parental control PC of course). attached are the screen shots of my setup.

not sure if below are of any help:

    ARP binding is Disabled
    DHCP server is Enabled
WAN Connection type - Dynamic IP

as I know, google is https website, this model can't limit https webiste. btw, you may also think about access control function

Hi - The issue is not about http or htps. Rather, the issue is that all devices on the network are unable to access Wi-Fi the moment I enable parental control. How do I deal with this ?

    Thanks,
    Raj

In that case, I think you can choose access control instead of parental control
